For my study of this novel, i am going to be focusing on two key themes and three key questions.

1)Human Relationships
2)Technology
The questions are:
1)Will the future be marked by further progress, material and intellectual, or by decline? Why?
2)Is it inevitable that current social and power structures will be the form of future social organisations?
3)How, and to what extent, will advanced technologies affect the lives of ordinary people?
